One round, start to finish
Archers shoot at a bamboo target, the arrows that hit it are counted, and the last two digits of the count become the result. The Meghalaya Regulation of the Game of Arrow Shooting and the Sale of Teer Tickets Act, 2018 puts clear limits on this. A round of shooting must finish within five minutes, and the result must be declared at the place of shooting within half an hour of the end of shooting. By design, then, the gap between the last arrow and the declared number is short.
If you want the basics of the game itself first, read What Is Teer and How Does It Work?.
FR and SR
FR is the First Round and SR is the Second Round of the same game on the same day. They are two separate shootings, so each has its own count and its own result. The FR does not decide the SR, and the SR does not repeat the FR. Both belong to one playing date and are shown together in a single row of Previous Results.
An example from our records: on 30 October 2026, Shillong Teer declared FR 60 and SR 97. Juwai Teer, an earlier game on the same day, had FR 36 and SR 94. The two games had nothing in common apart from the date.
The schedule we publish
These are the times used on TeerOnline, in IST. We checked them against our live schedule on 2 November 2026.
| Game | FR | SR | Normally off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shillong Morning | 10:30 AM | 11:30 AM | none |
| Juwai Morning | 10:30 AM | 11:30 AM | none |
| Khanapara Morning | 11:00 AM | 12:00 PM | none |
| Juwai Teer | 2:30 PM | 3:15 PM | Sunday |
| Shillong Teer | 4:15 PM | 5:15 PM | Sunday |
| Khanapara Teer | 4:25 PM | 5:00 PM | Sunday |
| Shillong Night | 8:45 PM | 9:45 PM | none |
| Shillong Night 2 | 11:10 PM | 12:10 AM | none |
Sunday is normally off only for Shillong Teer, Khanapara Teer and Juwai Teer. The other five games run on Sundays. "Normally" is deliberate: our records show a few Sunday results for the day games over the years, such as a Shillong Teer result on 23 Feb 2020, so an off day is the rule, not a guarantee.
Press reports sometimes quote slightly different clock times for the same game. A published time is a guide to when a round is expected, not a promise. If a time matters to you, check it at the counter you use.
The playing date, and the after-midnight round
A result belongs to the date of its playing day, not necessarily the calendar date on which it was declared. The one regular case where the two differ is Shillong Night 2. Its SR is scheduled for 12:10 AM, after midnight, yet it belongs to the previous playing date.
Take the 31 October 2026 row for Shillong Night 2: FR 05, SR 19. The FR was declared at about 11:10 PM on 31 October. The SR, scheduled for 12:10 AM, came in the first hour of 1 November, but it is recorded under 31 October. On TeerOnline that SR stays with the earlier date until 10:30 AM IST, when the new playing day begins. The row for 1 November (FR 02, SR 64) has its own FR on the evening of 1 November and its own SR just after the following midnight.
How a result reaches our pages
Each result is recorded as soon as it is declared and checked automatically before it is published. If a result is reported as wrong, we review it, correct it, and keep the corrected record.
Three rules follow from that:
- If a result has not been published yet, the page says so. It never fills the gap with an earlier number.
- A game's date and its results move on together. The date does not advance until that game's Common Numbers and results for the new day are in.
- FR is shown as soon as it is available, even if SR is still to come. You may see a row with FR filled and SR waiting.
Why a result may appear a few minutes late
- The round may have started later than the usual time.
- The count and declaration take a few minutes. The Act allows up to half an hour after the end of shooting.
- A page may need a short time to update after the result is recorded.
The homepage shows each game's status. A game marked pending has not been published yet; a game marked completed has both rounds.
If you see a different number somewhere else
Compare four things before concluding anything is wrong: the game, the playing date, the round (FR or SR), and whether you are looking at a morning, day or night game of the same name. Khanapara Teer and Khanapara Morning, for example, are two separate games. If the values still differ, write to us through the Contact page with those four details, the number we show and the number you believe is correct. Reports are reviewed as soon as possible, and corrections are made to the published record. See our Editorial Standards.
Common questions
Does FR always come before SR?
Yes. The Second Round follows the First.
Why does Shillong Night 2 show a Second Round under yesterday's date?
Because its SR is declared after midnight but belongs to the previous playing date.
Which games play on Sunday?
Shillong Morning, Juwai Morning, Khanapara Morning, Shillong Night and Shillong Night 2. Shillong Teer, Khanapara Teer and Juwai Teer are normally off.
Why is a result still pending after its scheduled time?
The round may have started late, or the result may not be declared yet. We show nothing rather than a wrong number.
Can the schedule change?
Yes. We update the schedule on the homepage when it does.
What happens on public holidays?
We do not give a holiday list, because we cannot confirm one. A game that does not play simply has no row for that date.
